It's your basic forced marriage scenario with nothing really unique to set it apart from the many others I have read. After the requisite misunderstandings Elizabeth comes around to falling in love pretty quickly without much fanfare and things take the predictable route, including the standard Wickham plot twist. It borrows direct turns of phrase from original Austen text so often that I found it distracting. Overall very bland and anticlimactic story.
